The Tree of Life was a self-written story about a young girl who was brought up by a missionary in Norway in the 17th-century. She discovers Níðhöggr (Nidhogg) a creature of Old Norse mythology who gnaws the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil. It is here she learns who she truly is.
