The Ship Inn

Signage / Logo

We were requested to redesign the existing logo to coincide with the completion of major renovations at The Ship Inn.

Our three person design team which included myself, one other designer and our director collaborated to create nine different logo designs to pitch to the head of the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group (ALHG), who owns over 40 individual pubs and hotels across Western Australia alone.

“There is something magical about being able to hold a logo that you helped create.”

Cañada College

Signage / Pull up Banner

I helped create a pull-up banner design for the admissions and records. Photos that I took on the campus were used in the design.

Captain Stirling

Signage / Banner

The client wanted two black and white banners for their custom kedar frames. These banners would be targeted towards traffic that accumulates at a nearby intersection or is driving by. Thus the design had to be simple and readable in a few seconds. To achieve this I chose a font that uses upper and lower cases with bold lettering.

“It’s important to never lose sight of how the design will be seen once implemented.”

The Greenwood

Signage

As part of a team at “It’s A Sign Company” in Perth, Australia, we put together a digitally printed sign to replace the coffee menu at The Greenwood. I also worked on Grazier signage which is at the steakhouse restaurant using the company’s style guide.

The Carine

Signage / Repair

The Carine requested to have their 3D fabricated logo repaired as it was missing a letter. We sized and fabricated a new letter to replace the missing one. At the same time, I created artwork for signage to be installed on pillars at the drive-through.

David Evans Real Estate

Print / Branding

Using the client’s logo and fonts I pitched ideas for their car’s graphic signage. The client was happy with the final layout. We manufactured the design with vinyl cut graphics and one-way vision adhesive vinyl and installed it on to the car in our factory. We also replaced a sun-damaged window graphic on their shop front window.

Mirage Spraypainters & Panelbeaters

Signage / Pylon

My team and I worked together to supply the client with a brand new pylon sign and illuminated logo for the front of their factory. We had to navigate through building regulations and design guidelines to give them a top-quality product.

Boost Juice

Packaging / Signage

Boost Juice needed visual signage for their store and a bike was their canvas. This job required creating a sturdy box made from flat sheet corflute and then wrapping the box in a custom design. Creating a corflute box from scratch is no easy task but with some ingenuity and creative problem solving, I got the job done.

The Pipers Inn

Logo / Signage

I was asked to create a logo design for Western Australia’s only Scottish Bar. The brief required the logo to include a lion and incorporate a Scottish pattern. The colors and design came together with bold and punchy colors of red and blue. The logo was later used in a frosted window and an illuminated sign.
